Nuremberg Airport Parking

There are more than 9,000 parking spaces available for motorists arriving at Nuremberg Airport. Driving to the airport is easy, since there are several motorway connections leading from the city of Nuremberg and other major cities to the airport.

The various parking lots, garages and park houses are located fairly close to the three terminal buildings – most are within 5 walking distance, but three are further away. The latest edition is parking garage P3, which offers 2,200 parking spaces on seven levels.

The parking fee system can be a little complex, as it depends on the parking lot chosen and length of time parked. Long-term parking must be booked in advance, while some of the short-term parking at Nürnberg Airport can be very reasonable indeed. There are also specially discounted categories like Business Parking or Holiday Parking, as well as valet parking, including car wash, refuelling, maintenance and even safekeeping of valuable items.

Short-term parking at Nürnberg Airport can also be found directly opposite the terminal buildings and these are ideal for dropping off or picking up passengers. Here parking garages P1, P2 and P3 can be found – P2 and P3 garages allow the discounted Holiday Parking, which is otherwise only available at P7, P12 and P31.

Long and short-term parking at Nürnberg Airport can be booked via the official website at http://www.airport-nuernberg.de. Upon leaving the car park, motorists can pay either in cash or by major credit card. SMART PARK, a discounted service for short term parking, can only be booked online.

Fees vary considerably depending on the type of parking and length of time required. Generally, a half our parking fee in P1, P2, P3, P7, P12 and P31 will cost EUR 2.00, while in P5 it will cost just EUR 1.00. Service Parking is only available in P1 and starts from one hour with a cost of EUR 10.00. An 8 hour period of parking on P1’s Business Parking tariff will cost EUR 14.00, while general parking for 8 hours at P5 will cost EUR 16.00.

A whole 24 hour period of parking will cost EUR 28.00 for Service Parking at P1, but will be charged at EUR 20.00 in parking garages P1 (Business Parking), P2, P3, P7, P12 and P31. A day’s parking at P5 will cost EUR 30.00.

Nürnberg Airport parking on a weekly (7-day) tariff also depends on the parking garage. Service Parking in P1 will cost from EUR 96.00 for a 7-day period, while Business Parking in P1 will cost EUR 80.00 for the same period. A week’s parking at P2, P3, P7 and P12 will cost from EUR 73.00 and at P31 parking for 7 days will cost just EUR 55.00.

Long-term parking at Nürnberg Airport - for 14 days or more – is calculated differently. A 14-day period in P1 Business Parking will cost from EUR 110.00, EUR 96.00 in parking garages P2, P3, P7 and P12, but will just cost EUR 70.00 is parking garage P31. Days in between the “weekly” slots will be charged according the parking garage the car is placed in.
